Sugar Skull Applique design Square Pillow Project for Machine Embroidery and Sewing Machine.
This is a wonderful project for square shaped cushions with a Sugar Skull Applique.

The Applique Sugar Skull design comes in the following sizes 5x7. 6x10 8x8 9x9 and 14x14. The tutorial includes suggested cut sizes for each applique on a square pillow background, but you are free to use the appliques on quilts, jackets, blankets, totes, or anything else that you see fit!
This design is made in the hoop (three hoopings) with a bit of both machine and hand sewing to put it all together. You will need the following materials to complete this project: Minky materials for the body and applique and soft tear away stabilizer. A fully illustrated design tutorial is included to guide you through the process. My favorite material to use is the Shannon Fabrics brand of Cuddle® and Luxe Cuddle® that you can find in your local quilt shop.
