STORY of TWIGS and HENRY
Many wonder how Twigs got her name. Twigs is no ordinary cat, but a very special friend to all who know her. She was raised on the Carrenger family farm with her seven brothers and sisters. She loved her family but her best friend was a farm dog named Henry. Henry loved to fetch sticks. Mr. Carrenger would throw sticks to Henry every morning for a bit when he came outside to get the morning newspaper. Twigs would run along side Henry and watch as he would grab the large stick. It was much to large for Twigs to grab but She enjoyed the game all the same. One morning as Henry brought back the stick and Mr. Carrenger tossed a small twig the kittens way and she cheerfully retrieved the twig. From that point on the kitten was named Twigs and was included in the morning fun. When the two Carrenger children, Mikey and Ariana were outside they also enjoyed throwing sticks and twigs to Henry and Twigs.
When Twigs was about 8 weeks old a family came to look at all the kittens. One of her sisters and one of her brothers were adopted by the family. The family was so happy with the kittens and they were sure to have a good home. Over the next week all of her bothers and sisters had gone to new homes but the Carrenger family had decided to keep Twigs because they could not imagine separating Twigs and Henry.
